"A lot of my work tends to the flippant and novelty, so it was great to have an opportunity, in Vortex Cabaret, to tackle some of the socio-political issues that have been plaguing me recently. It has been a great experiment involving relevant and important debates in an environment which rarely tackles controversy.

"Another important facet to Vortex Cabaret is the lack of any samples in light of the recent lawsuit which delayed, and eventually destroyed, the 'Neural Noise Network' album. Initially a hinderance, this restriction has sculpted my ways of working in many ways and shall no doubt continue to inform future endeavours.
