For 5 years I performed solo at outdoor markets in northern California, at times braving the insistent winds with an elaborate assemblage of bungee cords anchoring down instruments, music stands and charts. I learned to love playing solo. When I wanted to cut loose from the standards, I would find an interesting rhythm on my drum machine, do a quick progression with a quirky turnaround and improvise the content on the fly-always relying on my harmonica (which I wore in a headset while playing keys or guitar) to provide lead and counterpoint, and indulge myself creatively . This song was recorded live in an attempt to capture that elusive 'improv' quality.

Former Rocker and Punk Rocker with bands in Washington DC and San Francisco and several years as a solo performer in the Sacramento area. Currently involved in the production of new material and the publishing of previously unreleased recordings.
