Blick Bassy’s song “Bengue” summarizes the mission statement of the record—to take Blick’s soulful, emotive singer-songwriter style, whose melodic emotional communication transcends the need for translation, and substitute the traditional folk guitar style with gentle, enveloping electronics. This EP highlights the track’s harmony and arrangement built upon layers and layers of Blick’s vocals.
