Bon Tempo started as a bar band known for marathon shows, stage antics and rousing live performances. Formed when drummer Zach Lawson posted a plaintive ad seeking bandmates, the group spent 2 years kicking regular ass in its college town before releasing its debut EP, Flyover. The band draws from '90s alternative-rock influences Pearl Jam and the Toadies, with a dose of Black Crowes-esque blues.
