MPTS by Branko + PEDRO
‘MPTS’, a shortened, Portuguese SMS term for ‘Meus Putos’ — which loosely translates to mean ‘my crew’ — is a new collaborative single between Branko and PEDRO, formerly known as KKing Kong.
Released as the first in a series of new Branko singles, ‘MPTS’ forms his first new material since 2016’s ‘Reserva Pra Dois’ and follows 2017 compilation, ‘Enchufada Na Zona’ — a bold, borderless collection of club tracks inspired by Branko’s NTS Live show of the same name.
The single itself, a swirling, hypnotic, tribal-funky club jam, also marks the first collaboration between the pair and symbolically, unites one of Lisbon’s true foundational artists with one of the city’s most sought after, next-generational producers.
In addition, ’MPTS’ also signals the beginning of a new Enchufada European Tour that’ll see Branko and PEDRO take their widescreen, global vision for club music on the road to cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Lisbon and more.
