CastaneiA - I by Brett Alexander Boye
This album is an aural reflection on the first years of a project I'm calling 'CastaneiA' (derived from the genus name for chestnut trees 'castanea'). I envision an autonomous village greatly infused in biodynamic farming, permaculture with a plethora of alternative natural buildings adorning the landscape ala 'The Lord of the Rings!" This property I purchased in West Virginia already has a kind of magic feeling about it....but it's just the beginning (hence, the "Chapter I" subtitle). The album is inspired by the land but also the difficult context we find ourselves in at the moment (call it Ragnarok or the Kali Yuga or Revelations....or something like that).
