PULCHRITUDE is a collection of old and new piano music, brought together to create a listening experience suitable for massage therapy, yoga, meditation, relaxation, and sleep. These songs do not shy away from melancholy colors and tones, but seek to harmonize gravity and buoyancy in a number of different ways. Tension and release play a critical role throughout the album in achieving the balance.

Brian West is a songwriter who draws on roads, highways, and the imagined journeys of those who travel them. His lyricism deals with the concept of change, as applied to transforming the lemons of life into their lemonade potential. Brian’s mission is to make the most out of his gifts, to share them with listeners who may find perspective, identification or comfort from what he expresses.
