first stone by quadrophon

In 2001 I was experimenting with some more straight-forward electronic music. There was a new and exciting application on the market, Propellerheads Reason, which was fantastic and refreshing in its approach to bring hardware electronic music devices into the software world, in a stunningly designed package. I used it for this track. :-)

The speech samples I used were from a speech, interview or statement by Bush sr. where he justified the Persion Gulf War (if I remember that correctly! If someone recognizes them, let me know) . The title of this track is an allusion to the saying 'let him who is without sin cast the first stone'.

Later I somehow abandoned this musical traject for a while, and only a few copies on CD-R were made of this track.
