Something between snotty guitar glitch, lo-fi loops, with a pinch of punk, pop, gruff electronics, head-nodding beats and brains.
Niels and Ralf want to know, re-record and produce the album from a seemingly endless mountain session in October 2023:
A.I.N - WE ARE . A.I.N want to do more than just entertain. They have a message and a question:
"We don't have a "Planet B" in the trunk! Aren't we humans the aliens on this planet?"
With A.I.N, the two artists show a more serious and thoughtful, almost fragile side. Personal tragedies and a form of resignation in the face of the state of the world have led them to this theme.
"We don't want to missionize, to constantly raise a warning finger, but sometimes you just have to shake people awake, raise their awareness of the madness in order to be able to readjust their focus."
And that's what they do with their unmistakable A.I.N sound.
Niels Nijim was interested in music from an early age and started playing the guitar at the age of nine. He later moved on to keyboards and electronic drums and took lessons in tabla and sarod, two of the main instruments of Indian classical music.
He loves the sound and strives to preserve it as much as possible, having created numerous songs and albums with various projects. Elektrohandel, LOUNGE, CYLS, Ernst Halft, Rubber Reptile. On various labels over the years, he has brought several releases to record shelves and stages, at
times serving as touring guitarist for a legendary gothic synthpop band.
Ralf Weber started his musical journey quite early with a group of friends from his neighborhood. Years later, he released several tracks and CDs on the well-known label IC/ DigIt-Music, produced sound for commercials and was part of bands such as "Autopilot", "Schönhoff" and "K.I.T.S".
Niels lives in Germany, Ralf emigrated to Tyrol/Austria in 2022.
