Caravela's music draws inspiration from the communal traditions of Lusophone countries like Brazil, Portugal and Cape Verde, with an approach encompassing contemporary grooves and improvisation. Their debut full length LP ‘Orla’ is an intoxicating mix of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, contemporary London jazz drenched and progressive textures.
