This album was written back in August of 2009 during a particularly spiritually sensitive time for CAV3 immediately following the death of his father. The lyrics seemed to flow out effortlessly to the genius and futuristic cyber-beats courtesy of his long-time best friend Cygnus. Huge cups of morning coffee also seemed to contribute to the overall hyper-drive activity of the songs. The first two tracks "Skynet" and "Donorax" were recorded at Cygnus' Dallas, Texas home studio, and the rest were later recorded at CAV3's studios in Koreatown and Inglewood (Los Angeles) California. The title "Skynet" is only in-part inspired by the "Terminator" Hollywood movie and the modern-day internet. It is used here as a general term referring to an invisible, elusive network/dimension of metaphysical energy and information that is the source of all human inspiration, evolution, and salvation. What's the passcode? Listen to the album and find out...
