I made this CD in 2005, and recently re-discovered it with a lot of nostalgia as I turned 41.
At this time I was renting a room in a friend's flat. I had a laptop, a soundcard, a midi keyboard and a violin.
On my hard drive, lots of samples from records I used to borrow. Mainly jazz and classical stuff.
I was using a beta version of Audiomulch software, and this is the only software used here, apart from a few free vst plugins and microTonic drum synth.
All these tracks were played/improvised live in Audiomulch, with no edits or EQ or whatever. I guess it could be called "ambient".
I hope you'll find some time to share my nostalgia with me.
Music as a treasure hunt. It is tempting to use this idea to summarize the "official" discography by Chapelier Fou which began in 2009 with Darling, darling, darling..., a first EP that already included one emblematic track which gives its title to the disc. Since then, 7 albums and several EPs have been added, among other recordings.
