Shollenberger from Reflections by Chip Boaz
Shollenberger Park is a wetlands area in Petaluma that has acted as a bird sanctuary over the years. I have fond memories of my family and I walking around the park, seeing ducks, herons, swans, hawks, sandpipers, and so many more birds. I’ve tried to capture that sense of peace and beauty through jazz harmony, a Bossa Nova rhythm, and a catchy melody.
