Gantry moved to Nashville in 1963 and quickly fell in with the outlaw country crowd. He’s released five albums over the last 50 years, hitting the charts with Glenn Campbell’s "Dreams of An Ordinary Housewife" and Johnny Cash’s "Allegheny”. After a long silence, Drag City released an album of archival country-psych that sat in the can since 1973! His most recent record is 2019's Nashlantis.
