Industry by Chris Jenkins e-Music

Very early recordings, probably made about 1980 though the cassettes are undated. Recorded on TEAC 3340. Only two cassette copies were made. Mainly harsh industrial noises, though there are some more melodic pieces. Main instruments used: EDP Wasp and Spider, Moog Sonic 6, Clef Master Rhythm, Welson string synth, Powertran Transcendent 2000. Electric guitar by Mark Jenkins.

I have been experimenting with synthesizer music since the 1980s, recording jingles, releasing cassette albums and performing live. I now record in Krystle Studio in London, using analogue, digital and virtual instruments. Though I try not to be limited to any one style, my influences obviously include Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Jean Michel Jarre.
