Our world sits like a porcelain mask on top of an infinite process of decay. All around us spirits of the past operate in imperceptible ways. Some are born lucky, resting on golden rafts that bear them across this ever-changing sea of circumstance. Others of us, however, must master the tide through trial and error.
Industrial occult metallists T.O.M.B. present us with “Richmond Curse” for just such trials. The album collects reissued and previously unreleased tracks united by field recordings of the band’s paranormal audio rituals.
In times of darkness and solitude we look inward and find behind the mask not a face, but a mirror, reflecting the horrors of history back at us.
