Controlled Opposition finally comes to our home label. Being based on an examination of US history, it was imperative that we address a historical situation as it unfolds.
This album is about information control, the culture of military memetics, and the linguistic and structural similarities between cyber-warfare and infectious disease. Authority exerts itself without top-down control; a panopticon with no center, where each of us can see into the other’s cell at all times. Our mindset then becomes totalitarian, even in the conspicuous absence of a functioning central power.
