Inside Out by Completions

You are a fan of planting structure
Over troubling times
To give your brain a compass
When it goes to fight off the chance
That the cocktail of your spiraling inside dance
Could influence you
To chase whatever patterns make you safe

Yeah, but safe, like, how?
There is physically safe,
And then there’s other kinds, too.
And now, if you quarantine from the crowd
With the mindset that your spiral is not allowed
To speak aloud
Then sometime, it’ll strike from inside out

It’ll take control
Grab for any remedy
It can find around
If you don't let it out

But it's tough to safely vent the steam
Even normally
In rooms with friends for hugs and listening.
So until we can go that route
Will you please take twenty seconds to allow
Simple breathing?
A tiny step to letting inside out.
