Rorquals is the exploration of experimental drone music through amplified guitar, organ and electronics to create the honest, the intense and all the encompassing.
Dead Circuits is about writing and performing music in the moment. I record my performances in a single take with "on the fly" arrangement using hand built drone synths, effects and modular synths.
Improvised collaborations have always been part of Rorquals and Dead Circuits live shows. So when given the opportunity by Courier to put out a split album, it seemed like the perfect chance to commit some improv to tape! These two performances are our favourites from the session which we feel show the natural dynamic cross over between both artists styles
