STEKELAND by cysteke

it's been a hell of a year since sis-teh-kee was released, damn.

so many different things have happened in my life, both good and bad, that ended up influencing the music here one way or another. i'd say this has more of me in it than the last album did; whether or not that's a good thing is up to the listener, i guess lmao.

a couple songs on here were actually projects i'd had while making sis-teh-kee that i felt didn't fit into the flow of the album, and i feel they work here far better than they ever could there. one of those was actually a full instrumental i'd had done during a dark period during 2016-2019 where i didn't know what kind of music i wanted to make under the cysteke name, and i'm glad it's finally out there and not left to rot in my old project files for the rest of eternity.

all in all, i'm happy with how all these different genres/influences have collided together, and i hope whoever listens to it enjoys what's here.
