tiramisu by Danello, The Sad Surfer

These are song ideas written sporadically from 2018-2022. Summertime Pt. 2 and Ferry were written for Skytop Motel. Ted O. wrote the banjo part for a demo we did of Summertime which I liked and I recreated it when I recorded it this year. Ferry was recorded sometime in 2021/2022 with Ted on drums. Tiramisu, the namesake of this project, was written sometime 2022/2023 and is a favorite for when I would do solo live performances. I finally have a recorded version. I may revisit this because I had different versions/arrangements in mind for this song. The main musical ideas for forever / so, this is life were probably the oldest ideas on this project. The riff was written sometime in 2018. I couldn't come up with lyrics I liked until this year. The "so, this is life" section was originally intended as a separate track that forever would segue into, but I liked it as one long track. All songs, except ferry, were tracked this year.
