Danger Painters is Michael Barron, Bob Boilen, Kevin Lay and occasionally, Bill Harvey. Their musical Heritage dates back to the seminal 70s-80s DC music scene, including Tiny Desk Unit, Rhoda & The Bad Seeds, and Fuji's Navy.
The band members met in DC but now live in California, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York. Collaborating via the internet and rarely in one place to perform in public.
