Sea Music by Dan Zanes
Sea Music is an emotional and spirited acoustic collection of fourteen traditional maritime songs performed by Dan Zanes and Festival Five Folk. This is the first traditional folk release from Festival Five Records. This album was chosen by Rolling Stone Magazine as the "hot maritime sounds" of 2003 (well over a hundred years after the golden days of the sea shantey).
Although this isn't a Dan Zanes and Friends family music cd, these timeless songs have been heard in heavy rotation with many of the families.
