caroline white, aka infinity crush, joins the daylily catalog with her latest album from 2023! an important artist within the now-infamous east coast music circles that formally brought the term "bedroom pop" into independent/diy spaces, infinity crush has always left her mark through thoughtful lyrics, gentle guitar, and an overall feeling of soul-searching.

compared to her releases of the past that tended to solely rely upon her own voice and plucked guitar strings, "sestinas" expands the infinity crush sound into something more fleshed-out and refined... a full band's worth of instrumentation is present on plenty of the tracklist, along with a newfound americana/country style that enhances the sense of longing/loneliness that covers all 9 songs.

"sestinas" is certainly different from what has been showcased through daylily arboretum so far, but it certainly covers some similar themes and tones. i hope you enjoy, and take care!
