Brought up in suburban Boston in the 60s, I began guitar lessons at 11. I learned classical method with Pat Petracca until I was 17, when I moved to Okinawa for 3 years and met many incredible jazz musicians from all over and explored world music in earnest. I dabbled in recording off and on, then got busy with life. In my late 50s, I got the resources and wherewithal to produce music.
