REVIEWS
"FMP has a habit of finding and recording blossoming players. Pianist Kräling is a technically adept musician whose stylings make nods to all periods of jazz and yet always appear to be looking ahead. He has a hard-edged attack and great imagination (including use of the piano’s insides). He seems to prefer working in structured formats that don’t run too long (of the LP’s 13 cuts, the longest is 5 1/2 minutes) and he makes them work. One can detect the smiling shadow of Lennie Tristano throughout this mature debut recording."
