Pyramid by Mando
Mando has been making music for over 20 Years. A music student in the 90’s and original resident of the “Metrostore” warehouse in Acton, he had a studio between “No U Turn” and “Optical” of “Virus” fame, but went onto pursue a life of gardening instead. Now with a very successful gardening business, he, in his words “has decided to put the odd tune out.”
“Mando has always been awesome at sample hunting and he has amassed a huge library of weird and wonderful snippets from all over the place, I’ve often raided his folders for sounds. Pyramid has been a very long time coming. A banger of a stepper with a definite nod to what set the 90’s apart in style. The rich “Metrostore” heritage can be felt in Mando’s music. His effortless no frills production is raw, beautifully stripped back and always funky to it’s core. An “Original” techstepper steps out of the shadows.
Dom & Roland has been making Drum and Bass for over 25 years. Originally signed to the legendary Moving Shadow Records in 1994. After a recent multi-award winning album on Goldie's Metalheadz Imprint in 2016, he is now back to releasing almost exclusively on his own label, Dom & Roland Productions.
