Eternally lost inside a dream, am I dead or living a fallacy?

Darkness all I see, decay and dust, through aeons of winter and constant pain my memory is blurred.

Fragments of a youth, abruptly lost, remnants of a survey that’s been long gone.

Numb finality, I have no soul yet I am forever, bemused in silence, alive but dead.

Fire wakes me into the depths of night and then I fall through the void again, to rise when stars align.
Control your fear, when death is nigh and you will be divine.

Doomed to lethargy, an old man’s chatter of jeered and baffled dementia.
Darkness all I see, I am condemned, through aeons of winter to drown my pain in loneliness and shame.
