But when you are watching the latest instalment of a Middle East nightmare unfold and the politicians are braying to send planes in and start bombing ………well. The rationale seemed to be that everyone else was doing it and we had to play our part.
What a perfect theme to set a Gary Glitter glam stomp to! Shame about Gary. He made such great records but you won't hear them now for obvious reasons.
