My place of residence, my first official 3 song EP, my age, well past midnight... This album is a subjective expression of place, time and space.
3o1 is an expression of my relationship to the somber beauty of the pacific northwest.
It features many manipulated field recordings from my immediate surroundings to help convey a sense of place and offer insight into the soundscape that inspired its creation. All tracks were recorded in the last year, in my home studio, in the time in-between. 3o1 is an important personal milestone that marks a small triumph over perfectionism and fear of the unknown. I hope that you enjoy listening to this EP as much as I did creating it.
