Loveless Mind by Elandor
Now with their fourth album "Loveless Mind" Elandor present again a remarkable gamut of their musical range skilfully moving between classic dark rock songs ("Obscura", "Rising Fear") and melancholy compositions ("Her Song", "Ohne Dich").
A real asset is the new female violinist Indra who at live shows refines the songs with her soulful play. Singing in English and German, vocalist and frontman Markus' voice serves everything between urgent melancholia and pretty dark pitches ("Light") taking turns again and again.
On "Loveless Mind" Elandor know to improve again their own musical style considerably tying in electronic sounds expertly to render a special touch to the driving album songs ("Desire", "Redemption") proving at the same time that powerful and most melodic dark rock is able to be great fun without the use of well-known clichés.
