Mob Research collaborate with The Young Gods on new release Mob Research - the band formed by the late Paul Raven of Killing Joke/Ministry, Mission guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite and Warrior Soul/Trouble vocalist Kory Clarke - are releasing their first new material in three years since the 'Holy City Zoo' album was released to critical acclaim in 2009.
'MOTORMOUTH’ EP is released on limited edition gatefold digipak CD on Echozone on 18th May. The new CD features several new songs by Clarke/Thwaite including 'Motormouth', 'Another Dead Day in Paradise' and an exclusive new version of 'In The Atmosphere' featuring Franz Treichler of Swiss industrial pioneer THE YOUNG GODS on vocals.
The 9 track CD is also packed with exclusive bonus remixes by AESTHETIC PERFECTION, [DE:AD:CIBEL], IMPERATIVE REACTION, HANNIBAL and INERTIA (featuring Reza of KILLING JOKE). Mob Research is the bastard offspring of Paul Raven and Mark Thwaite. Both born and bred in the Midlands UK, the pair first jammed together back in 1989 then went their separate ways, crossing paths occasionally over the years before reuniting in Los Angeles in spring 2007 to collaborate on Mob Research.
Sadly Raven passed away in his sleep in late 2007 at age 46 from a suspected heart attack, leaving Thwaite and vocalist Kory Clarke to complete vocals and overdubs on 10 songs. The 'Holy City Zoo' album - co-produced by Tim Palmer (Ozzy/H.I.M/Pearl Jam) was subsequently released in 2009 after Raven’s passing to glowing reviews in the metal and alternative press
