KINDRID by Flight Risk — Edward Spark
In late 2024, myself and Flight Risk joined forces to co-produce a brand new album featuring Scottish hip-hop artists. The result is KINDRID, a work of art dedicated to the much loved and dearly departed Del Soulcondor from All Time High.
All Time High are regarded as pioneers of hip-hop in Scotland, and influenced many aspiring rappers and DJs. Del, from Stevenston in Ayrshire, passed in 2021 from cancer. His legacy lives on and his light across the hip-hop community in Scotland will never fade. Flight Risk connected with Del on many levels, regularly sharing stories and their passion for music.
KINDRID brings together some of Scotland's finest lyrical assassins, Werd (SOS), Empress, King 7RU, Jay-Lee, Blasfima Sinna, Deeko, and Lexicon. We will pass at least 50% of money raised from the album and single, The Balance, to Ayrshire Hospice in Ayr, who looked after Del with such care and compassion.
