I am in unbearable pain. My arthritis gets bad every winter, and this year I am unable to prepare the Christmas turkey. I can't afford to turn the heating on. I am constantly shivering. The council said that they are preparing to evict me from my household. What went so wrong? How can I survive on the streets? I have no-one to turn to. It's Christmas. Drops of freezing cold water emits from the rusty tap. The smell of damp is in the air, and I'm having coughing fits every night. I wish somebody loved me enough to want to spend their life with me.
