Warm Greetings!
It is my sincere hope that this album engages you in a journey of self-discovery. Each song is inspired by key moments of my own spiritual journey over the last few years. Throughout, the Harp has been my most valuable companion… She has taught me how to deepen my connection with Source and to express the divine, bringing forth music for the soul. This intuitively guided album, Heart Resonance, created and recorded in the month of March, 2012, is my offering to you.
I invite you to enjoy the Celtic Harp’s ancient presence that has been revered by cultures for thousands of years, opening the heart, calming the mind and igniting the soul. May the music bring joy to your meditation or yoga practice, relaxation to therapeutic work, and soothing energy—the nourishment to simply be.
Heart Resonance ~ Journey into the Heart
As the glow of the full moon rises so does our connection with the bodhisattva Quan Yin. As the Buddhist Mother of Compassion, she awakens musical abilities, heightens intuition and magnifies healing. Her voice in Quan Yin Speaks (track 1) begins our journey together and her divine feminine presence guides us throughout the album. Hearing our prayers, she witnesses the wild dance of our soul’s longing for purpose in Soulscape Aurora (track 2) and asks: “What do you deeply desire to experience? What is your intention on your path?” With these questions echoing in our awareness we walk into the forest to be in solitude. The soothing rustle of aspen leaves and the smell of sweet sage bring us to a place of calm. Here Middle Sea (track 3) gently rocks us into the natural rhythms of the Earth. In this stillness we hear the pulse of our heart beating, our true Heart Resonance (track 5) reminding us of our life’s purpose. Now listen… Can you hear Pan’s reed flute coming near? As he dances in The Dance of Pan (track 4), the ancient Greek deity of nature and fertility beckons us deeper into the forest, into a mysterious land of shadows. Each step we take brings us further into the Realm of the Elementals (track 6), where our heart connection becomes our most valuable companion—its fiery torch lights our way. Look! The darkness of night is starting to fade into the glow of morning light. Gently raining, the universal melody of The Cosmic Harp (track 7) draws us from the forest to discover a magical sunrise. We enter the world anew—the heart’s resonance is now our guide.
