The first one is called ππππ’ πΌπππππππ.
It all began during a train ride between Bienne and Belfort where I recorded various sounds, like the beeping of doors and their movement. I created a rhythm from those sounds and then wrote a song around it, with my favorite organ. The result is quite different from my usual work, but I really love this track so I wanted to share it anyway.
The second track is called πππ πππππππ.
For the 2022 edition of the Cully Jazz Festival, I wrote a song inspired by a specific location as part of a walking tour around the festival. I ended up choosing a spot that wasnβt part of the official selection, but where I immediately felt at ease. It's located under a concrete bridge, filled with trash and wild plants, but it felt like a shelter to me. This song gives me a sense of comfort, even when itβs raining.
