Ήταν ένα μονοπάτι, άγριο και σκοτεινό,
ήταν κι άλλο ένα μέσα στο φως το καθαρό.
Είπα το ένα να περάσω, είπα το άλλο να διαβώ
κι ό,τι μου φέρει το καθένα ν' ακολουθήσω και να βγω.
Και να βγω μες την αγκαλιά σου και στην καρδιά σου να χωθώ
Να αγκαλιάσω τη φωτιά σου και με το φως σου να ενωθώ.

Παίρνω το ένα να περάσω, παίρνω το άλλο να διαβώ,
χάνομαι στην ομορφιά σου και στα φαράγγια σου γλιστρώ.
Μέσα στο φως σου πως ξεχνιέμαι, μες στα σκοτάδια ξαγρυπνώ,
ό,τι κι αν φέρει το καθένα πάλι κοντά σου θα βρεθώ.

Πάλι θα βγω στην αγκαλιά σου και στη φωτιά σου θα καώ,
θα ψιθυρίσω το όνομά σου και στη σιωπή σου θ'αφεθώ.

Μέσα στη φωτιά, αφήνομαι και μέσα σου πέφτω.
