Rapper's Diary by Emac Dilla
– Only Making Classics (Records) presents “Rapper’s Diary” by Emac Dilla. This is Emac Dilla’s third release, which includes eight tracks that provide a great variety to choose from. In this third project Emac Dilla provides us with a different vibe from her other two projects, “Winter Nights” and self titled “Emac Dilla EP”. This piece of work shows a more vulnerable side of Emac Dilla in regards to her songs about love, which include “Four Leaf Clover”, “Muse”, and “Display”. Emac Dilla holds a nice note in those three songs, although never claiming to be a singer she still does her thing. Emac Dilla also provides us with raw, aggressive tracks like “Let Em Know”, Set It Off” and “Seven Pounds”, where she shows her ambitious, striving and competitive side. With that being said you will enjoy this project due to it’s realistic nature and the feeling of knowing exactly how love can hurt, alcohol and friends can bring out your alter ego and how life is unpredictable when your young.
