This is uncharted territory for you. Yet despite the uncertainty, you find yourself striding forward with your heart in your hands, fear in your stomach and numbness in your mind. You know that whomever you hand this precious thing to might break it, might damage it, might not want it at all. But there is beauty in this undertaking, there is hope that someone might not only receive your love, but will reciprocate it, and that they will understand, that what you hand them with trembling hands and fear stuck tongue, might be the greatest gift of all.

Emily Rowan is a singer, piano basher, uke toter and glitter addict. She plays theatrical, poppy, 'punk cabaret' songs, usually based on autobiographical scenes blown up to fairy tale-esque proportions. She also composes songs and sound tracks for theatre and other projects.
