BLANKETS is a compilation album featuring a diverse range of experimental electronic music from Liverpool and further afield. All proceeds from the sale of BLANKETS go to the Whitechapel Centre, a charity that aims to meet the needs of the homeless in Liverpool.
The Whitechapel Centre work with Liverpool City Council to deliver their ‘No Second Night Out’ campaign, which aims to ensure nobody lives or sleeps on the streets of Liverpool. The campaign encourages people to contact the charity direct to report concerns about rough sleepers, to make sure homeless people get the help and support they need and don’t spend another night sleeping rough.
Emotion Wave is a bi-monthly night that aims to give local experimental/electronic producers a platform to play live and collaborate with like-minded artists. Since our first event over a year ago we have hosted debut performances from a diverse range of musicians and producers, many of whom have contributed to the BLANKETS compilation album.
