eld019 - Budd by Skag Arcade

Grafting raw, intense noise atop the haunting atmospherics of dark ambient, the title track is a reflection on the controversial 1987 suicide of R. Budd Dwyer; a sonic exploration of the themes of despair, integrity, and the profound impact of public perception and media on personal tragedy. The accompanying A-side track drifts entirely away from the noise, instead plunging headlong into the depths of a gray world full of ghosts and shadows. ELD's B-side remix extends this descend, dragging the sounds deeping down into the echoing dark.
