Techmarine Bottom Feeders, the solo project of Paris the Black FU from Detroit Grand Pubahs, follows up 2020's album "Boanerges and the Watery Deep" and July's "Sirens of War" EP (on Engineroom) with a double-headed release in the guise of new single "The Hydra" followed by the "Techmarine Bottom Feeders Remixes" a week later.
With "The Hydra" Paris continues to develop the atmosphere and sound of the album via the threat of being transformed by genetic mutation by means of altered molecular processes in our food. As he says, "Science fiction and my love of the octopus inspired this track. Imagine being trapped on a ship or in a submarine with no one to rely on except yourself against a defender of the ocean, viewed as an intruder of Techmarine!"
Techmarine Bottom Feeders "The Hydra" is released 6 December, followed by "Techmarine Bottom Feeders Remixes" on 13 December.
