Beneath the murky grooves of Eric Lisausky's “Cemetery Deer” lurk those lesser-appreciated facets of the art of psychedelia: a razor-sharp sense of composition, and a delicate love of endings and beginnings. They pulse, drone and groove; with affable wisdom and familiarity rather than urgency.

At their center is a deep love of drama; of the evolving psycho-somatics of repetition, or the sheer joy and mythos-generating heft of a one minute vignette.This is a record of things appearing and disappearing in concert; the drama and satisfaction is always there when things stop happening.
