"This Valentine’s Day, Antimony Records will be releasing two tracks titled “epilogue” and “transit” from the artist teevee. These two Odyssean tracks features teevee’s sui generis approach to ambient, each a slow burner that unfurl much like a William Basinski loop or a beat-less drone piece by G A S. These songs evoke these influences but differ in that they are unshakably digital. “epilogue” features an artificial piano loop that mutates through repetitions that seems to pick up new distortions and ghost effects with each chord. On “transit”, teevee builds a crushing wall of distortion throughout the track that multiplies, breaking its own tonality and pitch. The soft melody never vanishes under this wall of sound, steadily repeating through the synth’s gigantic build."
