everybody knows-acid will burn you scissors will slice you cactus will cut you science will splice you physics will split you mathematics will melt you- it was an accident they called an ambulance -we beat the rhythm of a dead horse there is a wheel within a wheel and a snake in every sacred place eating her tail and the one hand smothering the other out of love and hunger lets sing a song about squashing a spider wash her down the drain you could cackle while you watch her swirl to the center of the world where the poisons always been the medicine. it was an accident they called an ambulance snake in the grass, scraping the sides we could slither round the downtown, walk, stop, sing, cry to the shark in the sky
