Introducing BOOM: an all-girl rock band from the little place known as Grahamstown / Makhanda. Drawing influence from artists such as Bully, Hole, Warpaint, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cortina Whiplash, The Kills, The Pretty Reckless, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Pixies, and many others, their style can be described as a mixture of Grunge, 90's Punk / Riot Grrrl, and Alternative Rock. For fans of anything raw, real, and reminiscent of good old fashioned rock and roll, their debut release "Naked" is certain to please. <3
