True Voyage by Flower Crown Me A Queen

On July 26th 2020, I moved into my van.

What followed was a two-month long journey out east and up the coast, camping in the Appalachians, seeing the Atlantic, visiting states I'd never been to before, and making memories I'll never forget. This period had such an impact on me that I was compelled to write an album only about my experience on the east coast. As the songs started to take shape, I realized that they became less about the places I was going, and more about the people I got to meet, the friends I got to see. Some of them even lent their talents to the songs I wrote about them.

Through distanced and tested hangs, through adventures and quiet nights, through strengthening my friendships and finding new ones. I couldn't have had the time I did without all the wonderful people who welcomed me into their home, fed me, kept me warm with skin and alcohol, and with all the love I was shown on my travels. Mountains are just mountains, food is just food, but it's a certain kind of magic getting to experience those things with other people who appreciate your company.
