String Theory by Fly My Pretties
String Theory is Fly My Pretties' sixth album, which was recorded live over nine sold out shows across Auckland's Mercury Theatre and Wellington's Paramount Theatre.
The 14-strong cast first met for a one-day writing session in July at Surgery Studios, where many songs were presented for the first time. Less than a month later, after four days writing and refining in Auckland, the new show was presented for the first time.
This album captures the best takes across this amazing run of shows. The concept behind the album - exploring the fabric of our existence through musical storytelling, and the infinite possibilities that String Theory presents.
