Onslaught by Folklorist

2020 has been a storm for all of us, but even this will fade into a whisper. Every season is full of raging seas, and relentless storms, both without end. But this too shall pass, the story is yet unfinished.

In Folklorist' Debut album, the "Onslaught", the listener will find themselves flipping the pages of a story, wandering from darkness and dismay, to hope assured, upon the rising of the new dawn.

The blend is seamless, drawing from both folk and hip/hop, both of which provide the listener with something both raw and captivating. Drawing from internal and external inspection, Folklorist sketches on a large pad with a small pencil - but be assured, there is something for all who pass by and linger for a moment.

All of our lives are bound up - as in a book, all with unique pages of harrowing adventure and unseen endings. Each of us playing a character of an ancient, unfolding story.
