Plattenkalk EP by PsychoPlasma

For our 38th release we're happy to present formerly unreleased studio material from 1996, that we found hidden deep in Jan's and Alex’s vaults. The four dubbed-out tunes were part of a row of session recordings, done by the guys in autumn that year. They share a free minimal spirit and were recorded with a limited and beautiful sounding analog setup in a small room in a Berlin backyard. The uptempo “Sinter” is a mesmerising, puristic Electro piece, the never-ending “Karst” more on the Techno side, featuring wild, flanged percussions and an extremely driving baseline. “Stalaktit" & “Stalagmit”, both slower, are nicely oblique, industrial, obscure but sometimes almost funky analog jams.
